Deli Assistant Department Leader

This role leads the Deli department, focusing on creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, clean environment to encourage customer return, while achieving sales and profit goals. The role monitors all functions, duties, and activities related to the Deli department.

What You Will Do

You will promote trust and respect among associates, communicate company and department information, and establish department performance goals. Responsibilities include developing scheduling, training associates, participating in performance appraisals, and answering customer questions about products. You will also review product quality, implement department business plans, execute sales promotions, and manage inventory processes.
