Role OverviewResponsible for the effective and efficient delivery of packaged goods to designated large and small format customers. Assist in merchandising, rotation, and proper storage of delivered products.
What You Will Do
Deliver packaged goods to customers, assist with merchandising and storage, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy loads.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, previous sales, customer service, and/or delivery experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Basic knowledge of State and Federal D.O.T. vehicle requirements, rules, and regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
- Intermediate math and personal computing skills
- Ability to operate 2-wheel handcarts and powered industrial equipment
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
