Role OverviewThe delivery technician position is responsible for transportation and distribution of propane to customers, performing leak tests and other safety checks, and safe operation of company vehicle.
What You Will Do
Transfer of propane from bulk storage to truck and from truck to customer tanks, verification of tank information, and continuous monitoring of truck tank levels.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements, and be able to troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain propane tanks and equipment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Relevant experience preferred
- Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations in employee’s state of residence with a Hazardous Materials endorsement
