Role OverviewThe Yard Clerk works directly with all lumber and building materials in the lumber yard, performing duties such as stocking lumber, building orders, and keeping the yard organized. This position is physically demanding and includes heavy lifting and working outdoors through the summer and winter.
What You Will Do
Cuts lumber, operates a forklift, loads product onto delivery trucks, makes deliveries, moves materials and supplies, stacks materials, covers exposed materials, assists with unloading deliveries, and maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the yard.

- The capacity to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
- Must have current driver's license and be able to meet the driver eligibility guidelines for the Company
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Move and handle boxes and merchandise which entails lifting frequently 100 pounds
- Work outside in various types of weather
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
