Job Description
We're seeking a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to join our Denver, CO team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, industry standards, and applicable codes, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in oil and gas, mining, or related projects.

Requirements

  • Perform structural engineering design, including preparation, review, and checking of engineering calculations and design sketches
  • Support colleagues and external parties through positive working relationships
  • Perform job site walk-downs to assess existing conditions or features for suitability to retrofit or change of use
  • Participate in quality control of deliverables and stay current with codes, standards of practice, and advancing technologies
  • Gather data and prepare engineering studies, analyses, and calculations, and craft recommendations and final documentation
  • Determine technical issues and implement innovative alternate solutions
  • Create final documentation and pursue customer approval
