Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced dental assistant who is ready to trade the clinic for a classroom. As an Instructor Lead, you will partner with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality and accreditation standards, mentor new faculty and support students throughout their externship experiences, and use your clinical expertise to guide program improvements and foster connections with the local dental community.
What You Will Do
Deliver engaging, hands-on lesson plans, provide timely feedback on assignments and clinical performance, act as a mentor, coordinate guest speakers and field trips, and maintain accurate student records.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of practical, occupational experience as a Dental Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program (or equivalent training recognized by CHEA/USDE)
- Nationally Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Proficient in didactic and clinical four-handed/six-handed dentistry principles
- Working knowledge of state-specific requirements for dental assisting programs
