Role OverviewProvide four-handed chairside assistance to dental residents and students treating special needs patients in multiple dental disciplines. Prepare surgical operatory, set-up for procedures under IV sedation, and assist with patient monitoring during surgical procedures.
What You Will Do
Take digital intra-oral and extra oral radiographic imaging, review radiographs, process and route imaging related materials, greet and direct patients, confirm patient authorization, dispense supplies, maintain work area cleanliness, and perform routine maintenance and disinfection of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of chairside assisting for oral surgical procedures, oral surgical instrumentation, and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience working with special needs patients and/or surgical experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of related experience
- Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program
- Knowledge of chairside assisting for oral surgical procedures
- Knowledge of oral surgical instrumentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
