Department Lead - Livestock/Ag

The Department Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of their assigned department. They oversee activities such as inventory management, recovery, price changes, and maintaining high standards of department cleanliness and merchandising. The Department Lead is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating price changes, and implementing playbook features and planogram sets. They also provide exceptional customer service and support at the front end.

What You Will Do

The Department Lead will be responsible for scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, price changes, planogram sets, department cleanliness, and adhering to the indoor merchandising guide. They will also oversee the recovery process, coordinate and execute price changes, and manage the implementations of playbook features and planogram sets.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience
• Knowledge of specific department
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen, ask relevant questions, and provide thorough and articulate responses
• Ability to remain composed and focused during high-pressure situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
