Role OverviewThe Deputy Assistant Director will be responsible for day-to-day programmatic oversight of FEMA recovery grants related to Storms Ophelia and Ida. This includes project management, reimbursement claiming, compliance, and grant closeout. The new position will also provide support to the Sandy team by sharing expertise on certain processes, and wholly owning others.
What You Will Do
The duties of the position include project administration, team supervision, and ensuring that claiming/reimbursement requests are proceeding in a timely manner. The Deputy Assistant Director will also represent OMB/NYC in meetings with external partners like New York State and FEMA.
