Job Description
The Deputy Commissioner for Community Engagement leads MOIA’s work to ensure that immigrant New Yorkers can access City services, receive accurate information, and remain connected to City government particularly in moments of heightened need, fear, or enforcement activity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, public affairs, government, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven ability to manage high-pressure, high-visibility work
  • Strong understanding of the systems affecting immigrant New Yorkers
  • Ability to set direction while ensuring effective execution on the ground
