Role OverviewThe Deputy Director will oversee the organization, direction, and supervision of the Case Management, Case Establishment, and Case Support units, facilitating eligibility determinations for public assistance benefits and employment-related activities. The role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving the Fair Hearing Win rate. The Deputy Director will work closely with the Benefits Access Center Director and other supervisory staff to ensure timely and accurate services.

The Deputy Director will manage the activities of the Benefits Access Center staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving the Fair Hearing Win rate. They will also manage the application and recertification processes for public assistance, process case actions, and determine training needs for Job Center staff.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, plus four years of satisfactory full-time experience performing work related to providing employment-related services or economic support services to persons in need
- At least eighteen months of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- College credits from an accredited college or university may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits for one year of work experience
