Job Description
The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) seeks a Deputy Director, Workforce to project manage and liaise with partners implementing a three-year pilot initiative to support SYEP and WLG providers with more capacity to create pathway-aligned work-based learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Liaise with NYCPS and the Dimon Foundation
  • Assist the evaluation partner on the pilot initiative
  • Create processes for monitoring and scaling academic credit opportunities
  • Develop partnerships with CUNY colleges
  • Coordinate with schools and providers participating in the pilot initiative
  • Collaborate with the DYCD Employer Engagement team
  • Represent DYCD at interagency meetings and public events
