Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Division of Infrastructure is seeking a Deputy Director to join the Program Management Unit – Engineering & Support Services, Front-End Planning (FEP) – DEP Coordination team. The successful candidate will oversee a team of Inter-Agency Coordinators responsible for advancing DEP-driven sewer and water main capital projects.

Requirements

  • Lead scope assessment and planning efforts for complex DEP-driven infrastructure projects
  • Evaluate constructability and sequencing challenges at the planning stage
  • Integrate future climate adaptation and mitigation considerations into project planning
  • Supervise staff in coordinating with NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), and other agencies
  • Maintain and expand FEP databases and performance metrics
  • Represent the Director in their absence, providing leadership and decision-making support across FEP activities
