Job Description
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking a Deputy Director of Capital Emergency Response to oversee capital emergency and high-profile capital projects managed through Capital Emergency Response Team.

Requirements

  • Eight years of full-time experience in construction, repair, alteration and/or rehabilitation of multiple dwellings, commercial, industrial or public buildings
  • At least 18 months of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity involving responsibility for a large number of buildings
  • Education in an accredited college leading toward a baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, engineering technology or a closely related field
  • Ability to provide expertise in construction/construction inspection management, project controls, and public-sector procurement
