Role OverviewThe Deputy Director of Fiscal Services will assist in directing and monitoring purchasing and accounts payable activities, developing and implementing policies, and providing fiscal guidance to staff. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial management, accounting, and reporting. The Deputy Director will be responsible for financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, and forecasts, as well as providing reports and documentation to the Director of Finance and Director of Fiscal Services.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Deputy Director of Fiscal Services include reviewing and analyzing financial reports, evaluating program standards and service agreements, providing reconciliations and budgetary forecasts, and supervising the Fiscal Services staff. The role also involves utilizing Commonwealth Information Warehouse (CIW), Massachusetts Accounting System (Mosaic), and Microsoft products.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience
