Job Description
The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is recruiting for a Deputy Director of Program Planning and Monitoring to manage a large portfolio of special projects, interpret and analyze large datasets, and develop questions to capture provider performance. The role will involve supervising the development and implementation of surveys, researching evidence-based interventions, and managing collaboration with colleagues and City agency partners.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience, including one year at the administrative or managerial level in a large governmental agency, business firm, civic or community organization operating in the area of social services
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
