Role Overview

The Deputy Director of Training Development will identify and engage internal and external stakeholders to determine agency training needs, liaise with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks, and customize training courses. The role is part of the Office of Program Development and Implementation (OPDI) within the Department of Homeless Services (DHS).

What You Will Do

The Deputy Director will identify and engage stakeholders, liaise with stakeholders, customize and configure courses, maintain and troubleshoot issues within ABSORB, enhance ABSORB reporting, and develop job aids.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, or public administration
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget administration, management analysis, or personnel/public administration
  • 18 months of experience in an executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity
  • Supervision of staff performing professional work in areas such as budget administration, management analysis, or personnel/public administration
