Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Deputy Director (Technical) to join the Program Management Unit – Engineering & Support Services’ Front-End Planning (FEP) – Drainage Planning and Modeling / Capital / Scope Engineering. The successful candidate will lead in the efforts of providing Capital Project scope development support, hydraulics and hydrology analysis, and modeling to support City initiatives.

Requirements

  • A valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer.
  • Six (6) years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plan examining work.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity.
