Job Description
The Controls Design Engineer will work on controls development projects, support field controls issues, and assist in controls strategy development and deployment.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
1~2 years of experience in engineering, including research, educational projects, co-ops, internships, or commercial experience
Experience developing electro-mechanical control systems
Proficiency in technical writing, specifically in controls/software specification writing
Experience with commercial optimization software such as MATLAB Simulink, LabView, and PLC software development
Familiarity with software languages such as C/C++, MATLAB Simulink, Structured Text, and other PLC languages
Familiarity with integrated communications via building management system protocols such as BACNet and Modbus
Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office, VBA experience, and AutoCAD family of products
Previous experience in laboratory testing processes, including instrumentation and measurement techniques
