Role OverviewDesign Engineer will coordinate multiple projects, collaborate with teams, and identify root causes of problems. They will model, prototype, and build product concepts, and ensure designs meet specifications and safety standards.
What You Will Do
The Design Engineer will work on the shop floor, represent Rough Country with dignity, and develop processes for legal and ethical compliance. They will also work safely and without injury.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with plastic part design, preferably in automotive engineering
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Working knowledge of CAD programs (NX and/or SolidWorks)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to facilitate activities necessary to a project's completion
