Role OverviewThe Design Technician supports preproduction, design, and sales with specific tasks in drafting, modeling, rendering, documentation, and product management. They maintain and improve product libraries, manage data, and maintain product fidelity across the website and catalog. They also assist in the development and proliferation of standard details across product groups.
What You Will Do
Create 2D drawings from 3D model objects, render 3D objects and scenes, create production files, review products for compliance, and maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have mechanical/structural engineering or architecture degree, prior manufacturing experience, and certification as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. They should have strong computer skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Requirements
- Mechanical/structural engineering or architecture degree preferred
- 2 years experience in the same field
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
- Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) is a plus
