Role Overview

As a Designer, Broadcast Systems, you will support the design and documentation of broadcast cabling, video production, and LED/scoreboard systems under the direction of a Senior Designer or Consultant. You will participate in client and operator meetings, develop system architecture and design drawings, and prepare LED and scoreboard layouts. You will also research products and technologies, produce and revise construction drawings, and coordinate drawings and design documentation with electrical, structural, acoustical, and other disciplines.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the design and documentation of broadcast cabling, video production, and LED/scoreboard systems, participating in client and operator meetings, and developing system architecture and design drawings. You will also research products and technologies, prepare LED and scoreboard layouts, and produce and revise construction drawings.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in broadcast cabling, sports video production, LED/scoreboard systems, or a related field
  • Foundational understanding of video signal distribution, including SDI, IP video, and fiber
  • Basic understanding of LED display technologies, including pixel pitch, processing, resolution, and viewing considerations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback from senior team members
