Job Description
Desktop Support Administrator is responsible for providing first and second level of operational support for infrastructure systems, networks, telecommunications, video conferencing and services in the Operations and Technology Center in Bemidji, MN. This includes installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS desktop and notebook computers, peripherals, iPads, and associated peripherals including AV equipment.

Requirements

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support to company users
  • Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS desktop and notebook computers
  • Document issue resolution using the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the Technology Department
  • Research, test, configure and software
  • Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Apple iPad and iPhones
  • Set up and configure printers, scanners and other peripherals
  • Set up and maintain audio visual equipment and provide on-site meeting support
  • Maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources
  • Work with outside vendors as needed
  • Willingness to train employees on various IT topics
  • Execute other assigned tasks or projects as assigned
