Role OverviewAs a Desktop Systems Administrator with GDIT, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. You will provide face-to-face and remote Tier 1 and 2 incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems across NIPRNet, Coalition Networks, and SIPRNet enterprise networks for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.
What You Will Do
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems, provides onsite, hands-on O&M support for client computing devices, and coordinates and manages Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability.

Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience
- Applicable DoW 8140 or DoW 8570 Certification
- Performing systems planning and coordinate/connect IT systems
- Expanding and/or modifying established systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow
- Working within Window, Linux, and/or virtual environment
- Establishing standards for information systems procedures
