Job Description
GTS Technology is hiring a Desktop Support Lead to assist in scheduling and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Desktop Support staff. The Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that the Desktop Team provides efficient and timely first and second-level support to the customer.

Requirements

  • Interview and make recommendations on new hire candidates
  • Onboard and train Desktop Support staff
  • Assist Desktop Support Manager in coordinating and delegating the responsibilities of the Desktop Team
  • Assist in remediating customer escalations in a timely manner
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to Desktop Support staff
  • Assist Desktop Technicians with technical and non-technical questions
  • Available by phone to assist Desktop Support staff outside of normal 8:00 am-5:00 pm work hours
  • Notify Manager of any pertinent information to include process gaps or potential issues
  • Oversee and maintain on site inventory and order office supplies
  • Maintain updated SOPs and Knowledge documents
  • Maintain an equipment decommissioning schedule for the Desktop Team to follow
  • Prepare and submit documentation on decommissioned equipment ready for approval to be picked up
