Job Description
TekniPlex is hiring a Development Engineer to lead breakthrough packaging platform initiatives and support R&D projects that drive growth for the Consumer Products Business. The candidate will work closely with corporate and business unit R&D teams to design and develop new materials and process technologies.
Requirements
Designs and develops new materials and process technologies in the consumer packaging segment
Provides substantial advanced technical expertise and has prime responsibility for outlining, planning, directing, researching, and completing various innovation and R&D projects
Conducts laboratory materials analysis and product performance testing, and interprets results to guide development decisions
Prepares clear written, verbal, and technical presentations and communicates effectively with technical, management, marketing, and sales teams
Monitors emerging material and process technologies and recommends opportunities for partnership or integration within the consumer packaging division
