Role Overview

The Development Liaison (Grant Writer) will support the organization's mission by researching and writing grant proposals, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating events and community outreach. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have experience in administrative, nonprofit, or related fields and proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM systems.

What You Will Do

The Development Liaison (Grant Writer) will be responsible for researching prospective grant opportunities, preparing submission packages, and maintaining accurate records. They will also assist with expenditure logs, documentation, and information gathering, and track awarded grants and post-award documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in communications, nonprofit management, business, marketing, or a related field
  • One to two years of administrative, nonprofit, development, customer service, community engagement, or related experience
  • Strong organization, proofreading, written communication, data-entry, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to manage multiple calendars, deadlines, records, and concurrent tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with donors, community partners, business clients, and staff
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, office productivity tools, databases, or CRM systems
