Role OverviewThe DevOps Engineer L4 will have 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, and pipeline automation. The role requires strong practical experience with Jenkins or TeamCity pipelines, including multibranch and scripted pipelines.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes include migrating CI/CD pipelines to Tekton and/or Harness, deploying applications to WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, Java packaging errors, and deployment failures.

Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, and pipeline automation
- Strong practical experience with Jenkins or TeamCity pipelines, including multibranch and scripted pipelines
- Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines to Tekton and/or Harness
- Solid understanding of Java application build and deployment
- Experience deploying applications to WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- Strong scripting experience using Python, Shell
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, configuration automation, and deployment automation
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Hands-on with Git version control, branching strategies, and release workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, Java packaging errors, and deployment failures
