Job Description
Omitron is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of software development pipelines and infrastructure for Cross Domain Solution (CDS) data transformation within the CROWN program in Colorado Springs, CO.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD strongly preferred; Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar acceptable)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot pipeline, environment, and integration issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively with software, test, and systems engineering teams
