Role OverviewAs a DevSecOps Engineer, you will support the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions, have significant ownership over DevSecOps strategy, and collaborate with customer and internal teams to validate release readiness. You will work directly with a mission-focused customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, providing unique access to secure systems, rapid decision cycles, and close collaboration with customer stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working within AWS environments
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, build engineering, or a similar discipline
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and tagging workflows
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
