Role OverviewThe DevSecOps Engineer will provide cybersecurity expertise, risk management, and compliance oversight to ensure secure development and deployment of critical defense systems. The selected candidate will work with PEO leadership, ISSM team, and cross-functional Agile teams to integrate and manage security requirements across IBCS environments.
What You Will Do
Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance for IBCS systems. Implement NIST 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust security principles. Oversee cybersecurity audits, eMASS compliance, and system accreditation.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in DoD cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or secure software assurance, and a strong understanding of RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in DoD cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or secure software assurance
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust
- Hands-on experience with cyber risk assessment, vulnerability management, and eMASS accreditation
- Ability to collaborate with government stakeholders and Agile teams
