Job Description
Diabetes Educator-RN or RD/Dietitian job at Ochsner Health. The job involves implementing and maintaining a nationally recognized Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support program. The successful candidate will work closely with diabetic patients, healthcare teams, and medical providers to develop and implement diabetes care plans.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
Associate/bachelor’s degree in nursing
Bachelor’s degree and/or license/certification required by the Certification Board of Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE)
3 years of experience with direct patient contact
Certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CBDCES)
