Job Description
Diagnostic Imaging Assistant - per diem position at Thompson Health, requiring clerical support for the Diagnostic Imaging department and assisting in maintaining medical records, Mammography film filing, and computerized systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Associates Degree (preferred)
  • Medical terminology (strongly desired or completed within 6 months of hire)
  • Secretarial/Clerical experience with strong organizational skills (preferred)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel (helpful)
  • Computer knowledge and skills in McKesson Paragon applications (preferred)
  • 2 to 3 years of previous medical office and/or hospital experience (preferred)
  • 1 to 2 years of computerized or electronic scheduling experience (preferred)
