Job Description
The Diagnostic Sales Specialist is responsible for driving adoption and utilization of a laboratory diagnostic test across targeted accounts while driving growth through strategic business development. This role identifies and engages key decisionmakers across targeted Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Primary Care practices, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to expand product adoption and utilization.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on increasing diagnostic test adoption and utilization
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the territory
  • Build, strengthen, and sustain strategic relationships with key healthcare providers and decisionmakers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support account conversion, retention, and long‐term partnership success
  • Analyze available data to develop specific territory plans including business analysis and growth strategies
  • Deliver impactful presentations to clinical, operational, and executive‐level audiences
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging trends to inform account planning and positioning
  • Contribute to team performance by sharing insights, best practices, and supporting broader organizational initiatives
