Job Description
We are seeking a Charge Nurse to fill a position at our dialysis clinic in Soldotna, Alaska. The primary responsibilities of this position are: patient care, new patient admissions, patient transfers and discharges, nursing assessments, initiation, monitoring and terminating dialysis, daily rounds, patient grievances, staff mentoring, and plan of care development.

Requirements

  • Current Alaska RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year in clinical nursing
  • Additional 6 months of experience providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis (for Charge Nurse role)
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to organize with multiple interruptions/distractions
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
