The Public Affairs Internship is designed to give qualifying college students experience within Public Affairs at a newly formed and fast-growing infrastructure-focused business, owned by a global leader and Fortune 100 Company-Dow Chemical.
What You Will Do
During the internship, the candidate will lead a project that has direct applicability to Diamond's PA strategy. Projects are designed to be challenging while building on individual interests and passions. Both technical and business degrees will enjoy purposeful work while developing skills such as business acumen, interpersonal skills, time, and project management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Successful interns will be considered for full-time employment in Diamond's PA or Dow's PA Program post-graduation. The role is hybrid, with the successful candidate contributing both from virtual and on-site locations will be based out of Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Headquarters in Houston (TX).
Requirements
- Rising Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.000 (4.000 scale) is preferred
- A minimum requirement for a U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States
