Job Description
Role Overview

Work with a team of experienced professionals on heavy-duty trucks, including diagnosis and repair of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components. The ideal candidate will be energetic, team-oriented, and love a challenge.

What You Will Do

Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, perform maintenance, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner. Communicate with managers and drivers to discuss preventive techniques and safety policies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as proficiency in diagnostic tools and the ability to interpret service manuals. A CDL Class B is preferred within 12 months.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals
  • Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and the ability to estimate time and material required for repairs
  • Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers
  • CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)
