Role OverviewEgan Company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform vehicle and equipment repairs, focusing on heavy diesel and large truck repairs. The role involves working on-site in the repair garage and performing jobsite visits, mobile truck service, and roadside work.
What You Will Do
Repair and diagnose issues on vehicles and equipment, perform medium/heavy truck driving and rigging, and test-operate line tricks, auger trucks, and trenchers.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on diesel/medium-heavy trucks and equipment, a CDL (commercial driver’s license), and strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two-year degree or certificate for truck repair from an accredited technical school program
- At least three years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on diesel/medium-heavy trucks and equipment
- Must provide typical mechanic hand tools with toolbox
- Must be eligible to obtain a CDL (commercial driver’s license)
- Must pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical, drug screening, MVR, and background check
