Job Description
Diesel Mechanic | Quarterly Bonus | Monday - Friday 2PM - 10PM. Perform preventive maintenance checks and services, general maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles, and ensure tractors and trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to do preventive maintenance checks and services and general maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles
  • Ability to perform an Annual Federal Inspection
  • Possess or able to obtain CDL
  • Ability to complete written forms such as shop orders, inspection forms, and vehicle & equipment work history records
  • Ability to schedule and determine work priorities
  • Ability to operate the various types of equipment to be repaired
  • Ability to repair air brake systems
  • Ability to do alignments on both tractors and trailers
  • Ability to repair/replace ABS System
  • Ability to inspect, repair or replace brake parts including brake pads, shoes, drums, and rotors
  • Ability to locate & repair leaks with AC system
  • Perform overhead valve adjustments
