Job Description
Role Overview

Work as a Diesel Technician with Waste Pro, diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components of heavy duty and light duty trucks. Collaborate with managers and drivers to minimize future repairs and maintain a clean, safe work area.

What You Will Do

Diagnose mechanical problems, perform repairs and maintenance, complete paperwork, follow safety policies, and conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

This role requires a team-oriented, problem-solving, and detailed individual with knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. ASE Certification is supported, and a monthly tool allowance is provided.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
  • Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals
  • Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and the ability to estimate time and material required for repairs
  • Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers
  • CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)
