Job Description

Our Mechanic II are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders, hilos, skid steers and boom lifts to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services, including 250-hour, 500-hour, 1000-hour, and 2000-hour intervals
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including diagnostics
  • Perform basic engine troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintain and repair fuel systems
  • Work on drivetrain components and related systems
  • Operate torching and welding equipment as needed for repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of daily work, including tracking labor hours in company systems
  • Order parts, enter purchase requests into database, and follow up on order status
  • Ensure all work is completed in strict compliance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Inspect and maintain equipment including cranes, loaders, hilos, skid steers, and boom lifts
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
