Requirements

  • Follows diet orders and NPO diet orders
  • Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts, and snacks
  • Uses proper food handling processes and policies
  • Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls
  • Serves meals to patients/residents in dining area
  • Prepares between-meal nourishments and serves
  • Offers menu substitutions and records them
  • Communicates well with patients/residents and family members
