Role OverviewThe Dietary Aide will perform various tasks in the dietary department, including assisting the cook, serving meals, and maintaining a clean environment. This role is part of a long-term care facility and requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. The Dietary Aide will work under the supervision of the Dietary Supervisor and will be expected to perform routine and repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Dietary Aide include performing defined work using dietary utensils and supplies, meeting scheduled meal and snack times, and serving meals. The role also involves following cleaning schedules, stocking pantry and cupboards, and attending in-service educational programs.
