Role OverviewAs a Dietary Aide/Porter at FutureCare, you will assist in food preparation, serving, and delivery to residents, while maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas. You will work under the direction of the Clinical Food Service Director, following proper care with food sanitation, handling, and safe serve policies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, serving and delivering food to residents, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, and properly storing food.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who is courteous and friendly at all times, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or longer and lift, push, and pull food carts and other food utility supplies up to 50lbs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be courteous and friendly at all times
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or longer
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull food carts and other food utility supplies up to 50lbs
- Ability to deal with residents, and staff in a tactful, diplomatic and respectful manner
- Ability to follow all written and verbal instructions
