Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Dietary Aide Supervisor to lead our floor operations, elevate the dining experience, and be a hands-on guide for our dietary team. As our Dietary Aide Supervisor, you will lead daily lunch and dinner services, track resident meal preferences, audit unit kitchenettes, and keep our kitchen running smoothly and safely.
What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities: Meal Service Leadership: Supervise lunch (11:15 AM) and dinner (4:15 PM) services. Resident Preferences & Diet Tracking: Visit residents across units (Hillside, Courtyard, Village) to collect meal choices, update diet tickets, and log nuances into our meal tracker. Safety & Sanitation: Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures, oversee dish machine operations, and ensure steam tables, dining rooms, and service carts are properly sanitized and broken down safely.

Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of food service experience in healthcare (long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital) required.
- Prior experience as a Dietary Lead, Shift Supervisor, or Senior Dietary Aide strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with therapeutic diets, texture modifications, food safety protocols, and par-level inventory management.
- Warm, empathetic customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with seniors and clinical staff.
- ServSafe Food Handler preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
