This position supervises personnel in the Dietary unit, responsible for planning, preparing, and serving food. The role involves supervising personnel in sanitation and safety practices in the unit. The Dietary Supervisor I works in a culinary environment with one year of experience in a culinary supervisory position. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a current Food Handlers card. The supervisor assists with interviewing and selection processes, maintains standards of performance, and evaluates competencies on an ongoing basis.

What You Will Do

The Dietary Supervisor I will assist with interviewing and selection processes, maintain standards of performance, and evaluate competencies on an ongoing basis. The role involves conducting daily meetings, scheduling and adjusting staffing, monitoring employees' work, and maintaining and enforcing disciplinary policies. The supervisor will also monitor and maintain the operating budget, make recommendations to management, and follow hospital, state, and federal guidelines for ensuring a safe environment.
