Role OverviewMountain View Electric Association (MVEA) is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to oversee online marketing and social media initiatives. The role will help increase awareness of industry issues and enhance member engagement.
What You Will Do
The Digital Communications Specialist will be responsible for generating content, monitoring online reviews, and developing optimal posting schedules. They will also assist with internal and external messaging, maintain the Association's website, and develop content for events.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field
- Three years related experience
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other comparable social media channels, website software, and video production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in writing in a variety of styles, adaptable to different target audiences
- Experience and extensive knowledge to effectively use current Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite products
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
- Self-motivated, well organized, personable, and able to exercise discretion, and use sound judgment in dealing with people and confidential information
