Role OverviewManage digital operations across multiple platforms for KIFI Local News 8, a news leader for eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. The Digital Content Director will lead the overall day-to-day operation of the news website and help lead the news management team.
What You Will Do
Manage station website, app, and social media platforms, produce interactive content, recognize and execute livestream and video opportunities, and track digital metrics daily.

Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in journalism or communications
- Prior news experience for a TV, print or digital operation
- Sound news judgment and a solid understanding of legal liabilities
- Understanding of digital audience needs and expectations
- HTML and CMS experience
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Strong ‘people skills’ to work with staff of all levels
