Job Description
Gray Media, the nation's largest owner of local television stations, is seeking a Digital Content Manager/Assignment Editor for its WBKO station in Bowling Green, KY. The ideal candidate will lead the digital content team, develop a cross-platform strategy, and oversee social media and streaming content.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent experience
Proven track record of digital news experience or equivalent experience
Solid journalistic judgment and a news philosophy that emphasizes accurate, fair, and unique local content
Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations
An eye for detail, strong journalism writing skills, and AP style proficiency
Experience analyzing data and identifying behavioral trends
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible with the schedule when needed
Ability to be part of a weekend on-call manager rotation
