Role OverviewThe Digital Content Producer is responsible for posting breaking news and day-to-day content to the station's website as well as social media platforms. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently and with a team.
What You Will Do
Write, edit and create news content for digital platforms, post videos to digital platforms, seek out live stream opportunities, and communicate regularly with news staff.

Requirements
- BS/BA Degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications
- Prior newsroom experience writing content
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Sound news judgment, journalistic integrity and an understanding of audience needs and expectations
- Prior experience creating content for social media platforms
- Basic knowledge of HTML, video and editing Skills
